Named in honour of my grandmother, Rose, who built a big life in a small house on the corner of Charlotte Street and embroidered with love, for the people she loved.

A decade in London left me smitten with heritage hotels. Monogrammed pillowcases were prepared for returning guests. Someone had thought about your arrival before you did. That small gesture of belonging stayed with me, the idea that to prepare a space for someone is a form of devotion. A practice we can extend to ourselves.

Charlotte St. grew from the belief that the everyday is sacred, that rest is ritual and that the spaces we inhabit shape how we feel within them.
